Zanne L. Blu, IHP2, NTP
Integrative Health Practitioner, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
My journey into Integrative Medicine began 20 years ago, after experiencing firsthand the limitations of traditional medicine in addressing my own health issues. Struggling with various food sensitivities, gut issues, eczema, hormonal imbalances, and perimenopause, I found myself frustrated by a medical system that often told me that there was nothing wrong with me and focused only on symptom management rather than the underlying causes of my symptoms. I desired and NEEDED a more comprehensive approach to my healthcare. This personal experience ignited my passion for studying all facets of Integrative Medicine and living optimally.
I attended and obtained certifications from the Nutritional Therapy Association, Internal Environment Institute, and Integrative Health Practitioner Institute. My education included:
- Holistic Nutritional Therapy1
- Colon Hydrotherapy2
- Ayurvedic Medicine3
- Bioregulatory Medicine4
- Herbalism (TCM)5
- Traditional Naturopathy6
- Eastern Philosophy7
- Orthomolecular Medicine8
- Functional Medicine9
I am a strong advocate for the importance of lifestyle factors - such as nutrition, sleep, stress management, and physical activity - in maintaining health and preventing disease. My background extends to certifications in the energy healing modalities - Reiki10 and Shiva Murti11 - and as an Indoor Cycling Instructor. For over a decade, I’ve immersed myself in meditation practices, indigenous ceremonies, and pursuing endurance through running trails and marathons. I truly believe that optimal health incorporates the body, mind, and spirit.
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to work with individuals facing a whole variety of health challenges, from chronic fatigue, digestive issues, and stubborn weight loss to hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions, and more. I work alongside my clients to create personalized protocols that go beyond conventional medicine, integrating:
- comprehensive health assessments
- functional testing
- evidenced-based natural therapies
- tailored nutrition plans
- lifestyle and fitness recommendations
Whether you’re dealing with a specific health issue or simply seeking to optimize your well-being, I am here to guide you every step of the way. It is truly gratifying to help others feel better because I personally know what it’s like to feel unwell. I can tell you from my own experience, that the path to feeling better DOES exist.
